How it works
Difzol-MR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

What is Difzol-MR Tablet?
Difzol-MR Tablet is a combination medication that contains three active ingredients: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. It is used to relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone works by acting on the central nervous system, while Diclofenac and Paracetamol reduce the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that cause pain and inflammation.
Is it safe to use Difzol-MR Tablet?
Difzol-MR Tablet is generally considered safe for most patients. However, it may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. In some cases, it may also cause uncommon or rare side effects. If you experience any persistent problems while taking this medication, consult your doctor immediately.
Can I stop taking Difzol-MR Tablet when my pain is relieved?
It is recommended to continue taking Difzol-MR Tablet for the duration advised by your doctor, even if your pain is relieved. However, if you are using it for short-term pain relief, you can discontinue it once your pain is managed.
Can the use of Difzol-MR Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, Difzol-MR Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. If you experience nausea, take the medication with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods with this medication. If you experience vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids in small amounts. If vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, such as dark-colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination, consult your doctor. Do not take any other medication without consulting your doctor.
