How it works
Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Frequently asked questions
What is Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet used for?
Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination medication that helps to relieve muscle pain. It contains three active ingredients: diclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. Diclofenac works by reducing prostaglandins in the body, which causes inflammation and pain. Paracetamol also reduces prostaglandins and helps to alleviate pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant that acts on the central nervous system to relieve muscle spasms and pain.
Is Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet safe for most patients?
Yes, Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet is generally considered safe for most patients. However, like any medication, it may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dryness in the mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. Rare or uncommon side effects can also occur. If you experience persistent problems or have concerns, please consult your doctor.
Can I stop taking Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet once my pain is relieved?
It's essential to continue taking Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet for the recommended duration, as advised by your doctor. Discontinuing the medication too early may not provide adequate relief from muscle pain. However, if you're using it for short-term pain relief, you can discontinue use once the pain subsides.
Can Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, taking Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet may lead to nausea and vomiting. If you experience nausea, try taking the medication with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids in small frequent sips. If vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, such as dark-colored and strong-smelling urine, low urination frequency, or other symptoms, consult your doctor.
Can Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, taking Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet can cause dizziness in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, rest for a while and resume once you feel better.
Can long-term use of Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet damage my kidneys?
Yes, the long-term use of Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet can cause kidney damage. Normal kidneys produce prostaglandins that protect them from harm. Should I take a higher dose of Difcare MR 250mg/50mg/325mg Tablet if my pain persists?
No, taking a higher dose than recommended can increase the risk of side effects. If you're experiencing severe or persistent pain, consult your doctor for re-evaluation and guidance on managing your symptoms.
