How it works
Diclovive-C Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Frequently asked questions
What is Diclovive-C Tablet?
Diclovive-C Tablet contains diclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. It is used to relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone works by affecting the central nervous system as a muscle relaxant. Diclofenac and paracetamol work by lowering chemical substances (prostaglandins) in the body that cause pain and inflammation.
Is Diclovive-C Tablet safe to use?
Diclovive-C Tablet is generally safe for most patients. However, it can cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, sleepiness, and other uncommon or rare side effects. If you experience persistent problems due to the medication, inform your doctor immediately.
Can I stop taking Diclovive-C Tablet when my pain is relieved?
If you are using Diclovive-C Tablet for a specific duration as prescribed by your doctor, continue taking it. If the pain is short term, you can discontinue it if advised by your doctor.
Can Diclovive-C Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, Diclovive-C Tablet may cause nausea and vomiting in some patients. To alleviate this symptom: take the medication with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods alongside this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Consult your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration like dark-colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without talking to your doctor.
Can Diclovive-C Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, some patients may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) after taking Diclovive-C Tablet. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, rest for a while and resume once you feel better.
Can the use of Diclovive-C Tablet cause kidney damage?
Long-term use of Diclovive-C Tablet can potentially lead to kidney damage. Prostaglandins in normal kidneys protect them from damage. Painkillers reduce these prostaglandins, which can ultimately cause kidney problems on long-term usage. Individuals with pre-existing kidney conditions should avoid using Diclovive-C Tablet.

Taking higher doses of Diclovive-C Tablet can increase the risk of side effects. If you experience increased pain severity or the pain is not relieved by the recommended dosage, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
