Introduction

Dialgin D gum paint is a topical solution that contains antiseptic agents combined with tanning agents. It is applied locally on the gums to treat severe bacterial infections and inflammatory conditions of the mouth. The solution contains Potassium iodide and Iodine, which act as antiseptics and anti-infectives, killing bacteria. Tannic acid acts as an astringent, causing contraction and preventing bleeding of the soft tissues, making them firm. Menthol acts as a local analgesic, relieving pain, and gives a sensation of coolness, providing some relief from pain. Camphor acts as a mild analgesic, providing relief from pain. Thymol acts as an antiseptic and antibacterial agent, reducing oral infections.

Apply the gum paint with a clean finger or cotton applicator on the gums and massage. After brushing, do not rinse or eat for at least 10 minutes. This allows the gum paint to be absorbed into the gums and helps in healing. After that, spit and rinse the mouth thoroughly, but do not swallow.
