Deys Milk OF Magnesia Liquid Ice Cream should be taken as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Do not take more than you are advised to and if you miss a dose, do not take an extra one to make up for it. This medicine takes at least 48 hours to work. You can help reduce these side effects by drinking plenty of fluids and taking the medicine between meals. If the side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, talk to your doctor.
