Delonix 125mg Oral Suspension is a widely prescribed medicine that helps to ease pain and bring down high body temperature (fever). In children, it treats conditions like headache, toothache, body ache, fever, and common cold.
Give Delonix 125mg Oral Suspension to your child with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach. Your child should not take more than four doses of this medicine in 24 hours, so wait up to 6 hours between doses. Never give any other medicine formulation containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects. Inform the doctor if your child has liver disease as the dose may need to be adjusted. If Delonix 125mg Oral Suspension does not seem to be helping your child, contact your doctor for advice. Do not give extra doses.
Delonix 125mg Oral Suspension possesses analgesic (pain-reliever) and antipyretic (lowers body temperature) properties. It provides relief by blocking certain chemical messengers and pathways in the brain that send signals about pain and fever.

If your child vomits within 30 minutes of administering the medicine, repeat the dose. If it has been more than 30 minutes and your child vomits, no need to repeat the dose; wait until the next scheduled time for administration. Consult your doctor if you are unsure.
You can give this medicine if your child has a temperature of 38.3°C (101°F) or higher. However, it is important to speak with your doctor first.
If the fever doesn't come down after initial doses, it could be caused by a potential infection (virus or bacteria). It is recommended to seek advice from your doctor for specific treatment.
Do not exceed four doses of Delonix 125mg Oral Suspension in 24 hours. There should be a minimum 4-6 hour gap between two doses. Always consult your doctor before administering the medicine for more than three days. Overdosing can lead to serious liver and kidney damage. In case you suspect overdosage, contact your doctor immediately.
Unless instructed by a doctor, continue with your child's normal balanced diet during medication. This is crucial to ensure their overall health and avoid potential medicinal toxicity.

Keep this medicine at room temperature in a dry place away from children and pets. It must be kept out of reach of unauthorized individuals.
It is recommended to avoid administering this medicine simultaneously with vaccines that cause fever. This can negatively affect the efficacy of the vaccination.
