Prefer giving Deflohexa 6mg Syrup with food as an empty stomach can trigger acidity and gastric reflux. Avoid giving antacids along with Deflohexa 6mg Syrup. If both need to be given, leave a gap of at least 2 hours between administration of Deflohexa 6mg Syrup and antacids.

Do not give Deflohexa 6mg Syrup to your child if they have any of the following conditions: - Cardiac disease or congestive heart failure (except in the presence of active rheumatic carditis), - Hypertension, - Thromboembolic disorders, - Diabetes mellitus. - A family history of active TB, active herpes infection, osteoporosis, myasthenia gravis, or renal insufficiency.
Some vaccines (live or live-attenuated) need to be delayed by 4-6 weeks before starting Deflohexa 6mg Syrup. Therefore, ensure all immunizations are given according to immunization guidelines before your child begins taking this medication.
Keep the medicine in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children and pets. This will help prevent accidental intake.
It is not recommended to use Deflohexa 6mg Syrup in children with pre-existing seizure disorders, as long-term use may lead to mental health issues and seizures.
