Short Description

Dasamac 50 Tablet is used to treat blood cancer (chronic myeloid leukaemia) in patients who cannot be treated with other medications or who experience side effects.

Introduction

Dasamac 50 Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide the necessary dose and frequency of taking it, which may change over time. It may take several weeks or months to see the benefits, but do not stop taking it unless your doctor advises you to. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and rash. It may also cause increased heartbeat and low or high blood pressure, so consult your doctor if these symptoms occur. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells, and you should avoid antacid intake within 2 hours of taking this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Dasamac 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Dasamac 50 Tablet is an anti-cancer medication that works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply, helping to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.

Take it with or without food preferably at the same time each day Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Use a reliable contraceptive method to prevent pregnancy while you are taking this medicine and for a month after you stop taking it. Monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking this medication. Inform your doctor if you notice symptoms of very high blood pressure such as severe headache, confusion, problems with your eyesight, nausea or vomiting. It may cause serious bleeding problem. Inform your doctor if you get headaches, stomach pain or if you notice blood in your urine or stools. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
