Tablet
Dapocee M 10mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Dapagliflozin and Metformin, used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control high blood sugar levels, reducing the risk of serious complications such as heart disease. While effective, it may cause side effects like urinary tract infections and dehydration. Always consult your doctor for personalized advice.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Dapocee M 10mg/500mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Dapocee M 10mg/500mg Tablet combines Dapagliflozin and Metformin. Dapagliflozin removes excess sugar through urine, while Metformin lowers sugar production in the liver, delays glucose absorption from intestines, and increases the body's sensitivity to insulin. Together, they provide better blood sugar control.
You have been prescribed this combination medicine as it can control blood sugar better than metformin alone. It also reduces the risk of heart attack, heart failure, or other cardiovascular events. Continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with Dapocee M 10mg/500mg Tablet. Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach. Dapocee M 10mg/500mg Tablet can cause urinary tract infection. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practice good genital hygiene. It may cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or you to urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal. Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms such as cold sweats, cool pale skin, tremor, and anxious feeling.
