Dapazee M 1000 XR Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Dapagliflozin and Metformin. It helps control the high blood sugar levels seen in diabetes, reducing the chances of serious complications of diabetes and also helps prevent heart disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Dapazee M 1000 XR Tablet is to be taken with food.
Urinary tract infection Dehydration Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level)
It is advised to avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level).
It is not recommended to breastfeed while taking this medicine as it may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) in the infant.
It is not recommended to take this medicine during pregnancy as it may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) in the mother and the developing fetus.
Dapazee M 1000 XR Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Dapagliflozin and Metformin. Dapagliflozin works by removing excess sugar (glucose) from your body through urine. Metformin works by lowering sugar production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.
You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with Dapazee M 1000 XR Tablet. Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach. Dapazee M 1000 XR Tablet can cause urinary tract infection. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practice good genital hygiene. It may cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or you to urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal.
