Daparyl 10 Tablet can be taken with or without food at any time of day, but it's recommended to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor. Do not stop taking it without asking your doctor, as this may increase your blood sugar levels and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. This medicine is only part of a treatment program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Daparyl 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
It may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal. It may cause genital fungal and/or urinary tract infections (UTIs) in both females and males, so practice good hygiene. It may cause the body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or you may urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. It may cause joint pain, cold-like symptoms, or unexplained nausea/vomiting.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Daparyl 10 Tablet.
Daparyl 10 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Daparyl 10 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
