How should Cynocal-M Forte 2500mcg Injection be given?
Cynocal-M Forte 2500mcg Injection can be injected directly into a vein (intravenously) or into a muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Cynocal-M Forte 2500mcg Injection) and is given 3 times a week. After two months, the dose is given once every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken when administering Cynocal-M Forte 2500mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site repeatedly. If there is intense pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
