How it works
Cumide P Soap is a combination of three medicines: Permethrin, Cetrimide, and Menthol. Permethrin and Cetrimide are antiparasitic medicines which work by killing the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs which cause scabies. Menthol provides a cooling effect on the skin.
Quick Tips
Cumide P Soap is prescribed for the treatment of scabies (a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin). Use it all over the body before taking a bath or shower. Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately. You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching. Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment. This helps kill the scabies mites.
