Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic, thinning and loosening the phlegm for easier coughing. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles and widens airways. Guaifenesin functions as an expectorant, decreasing the stickiness of phlegm and helping it be easily cleared from the airways.
