How it works
Cubflam-MR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.

Frequently asked questions
What is Cubflam-MR Tablet?
Cubflam-MR Tablet contains diclofenac, paracetamol, and chlorzoxazone. These medications work together to relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone acts on the central nervous system to relax muscles. Diclofenac and paracetamol decrease prostaglandin levels in the body, which are involved in pain and inflammation.
Is Cubflam-MR Tablet safe for use?
Cubflam-MR Tablet is generally safe for most people. However, it can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, sleepiness, and other possible rare or uncommon side effects. It's important to inform your doctor if you experience any persistent problems related to the medication.
Can I stop taking Cubflam-MR Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Cubflam-MR Tablet should be continued for the prescribed duration by your doctor. If you are using it for short-term pain relief, discontinuation might be appropriate after consulting your doctor.
Can Cubflam-MR Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, Cubflam-MR Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting in some people. If you experience nausea while taking the medication, take it with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods alongside this medicine. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. If vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration like dark-colored urine and low urination frequency, speak to your doctor immediately. Never take any other medicine without consulting your doctor.
Can Cubflam-MR Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, Cubflam-MR Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you experience dizziness, it's best to rest and resume when feeling better.
Can the use of Cubflam-MR Tablet damage kidneys?

Can I take a higher dose of this medicine than recommended?
No, taking a higher dose of Cubflam-MR Tablet can increase the risk of side effects. If your pain is more severe or if you don't find relief with the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
