Cromobact 2gm Injection is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
Injection
Cromobact 2gm Injection is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.

Consuming alcohol with Cromobact 2gm Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.
Cromobact 2gm Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Cromobact 2gm Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Cromobact 2gm Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
You have been prescribed Cromobact 2gm Injection for the treatment of bacterial infections. Finish the prescribed course even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Inform your doctor if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Cromobact 2gm Injection is generally considered safe for patients with penicillin allergies. Studies have shown that it has no significant cross-reactivity with penicillins.
