Critor MR 60mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside, used to alleviate pain and discomfort caused by muscle spasms. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that blocks the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts on the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasms, thereby improving muscle movement. While effective, this medication may cause dizziness and fatigue, and it is advised to avoid activities requiring concentration until its effects are known. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended, especially during the initial weeks of treatment. Patients with a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease should inform their doctor before starting this medication.
