Cough AM Syrup may make your child feel sleepy. Advise your child to be cautious when taking part in physical activities. Do not share your child's medicines with other children, even if they show similar symptoms. Stop Cough AM Syrup and immediately report to the doctor if your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties. Practice self-care tips: clean and disinfect surfaces after sneezing and coughing, give your child plenty of fluids, restrain your child from having caffeinated products and foods that are spicy and fried, make your child gargle with warm saltwater, and ensure your child takes enough rest.
Cough AM Syrup is not appropriate for treating dry coughs. It's designed specifically for wet coughs, aiming to clear phlegm and ease throat irritation. If your child has a dry cough, you should consult with their doctor for the best treatment options.
Overdose or prolonged use of Cough AM Syrup can lead to serious side effects like seizures, fast heartbeat, and excessive salivation. Only give your child the prescribed dose, time, and method indicated on the label. Never stop medication abruptly, even if symptoms improve. Sudden withdrawal could worsen their condition.
Do not combine multiple cough or cold medications unless explicitly advised by your child's doctor. If you are unsure, always consult with your child’s healthcare professional for guidance before administering any medication.
Never administer medicines intended for adults to children. Children require specific medications formulated for their age and size to minimize risks. Carefully review the label before giving your child any medication, and follow the exact dosage instructions provided.
Store Cough AM Syrup at room temperature in a dry, cool location away from direct sunlight or heat. Make sure to keep all medications out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
