Introduction

Coslid 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues. Coslid 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. You should take it regularly as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Coslid 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Coslid 600mg Tablet.

Breastfeeding Warning

Interacting Medicines

Coslid 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Take it for the full duration prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better. Avoid taking excessive cheese, processed meats, alcohol, or soy sauce while taking this medication as these may cause an excessive rise in your blood pressure.
