Introduction

Cortel M 25 Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Telmisartan and Metoprolol Succinate. It is used for treating high blood pressure and preventing future heart attacks and strokes. Early treatment with this medicine also improves the chances of survival in patients with heart attacks.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cortel M 25 Tablet ER is to be taken with food.

You have been prescribed Cortel M 25 Tablet ER for the treatment of high blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure reduces chance of future heart attack & strokes. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can cause sudden increase in your blood pressure.
