Conchol-F10 Tablet is a combination of two lipids (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Conchol-F10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Conchol-F10 Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and Rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood while Rosuvastatin prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).
Notify your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness) particularly if accompanied with fever. Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, loss of hunger, a sick feeling or dark urine. Do not discontinue Conchol-F10 Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).
Conchol-F10 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate. A rare (1 in 10,000 patients) side effect is liver damage. Patients with underlying liver disease should avoid using this medicine. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice early signs of liver damage, such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal liver enzymes.
Yes, muscle injury can be a side effect of Conchol-F10 Tablet. This does not occur in everyone, but if you experience symptoms like muscle pain or weakness, talk to your doctor as soon as possible.
To boost your health while taking Conchol-F10 Tablet, consider the following: Quit smoking to lower your risk of heart attack and stroke. If you are overweight or obese, try to lose weight. Eat a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables. Regular exercise can make your heart strong and decrease your risk of heart attack.
Conchol-F10 Tablet can interact with several medicines and cause serious problems. Before using any prescription or non-prescription medicine, talk to your doctor and inform him about using Conchol-F10 Tablet.
Keep this medicine in its original packet or container tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions on the pack or label. Dispose of unused medicine, making sure it is not consumed by pets, children, or other people.
