Comist 2500mcg Injection contains vitamin B12, an essential nutrient required by the body to make red blood cells and maintain a healthy nervous system. It also helps release energy from food and utilize vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Why can't I get sufficient vitamin B12 in my diet?
Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal products like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy. Individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may not obtain sufficient Vitamin B12 from their food choices as it isn't typically present in fruits, vegetables, or grains.
What happens if I have vitamin B12 deficiency?
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to symptoms like fatigue and weakness. Additionally, it may result in constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormal red blood cell size).
