Introduction

Comantrel-T Tablet is used to treat Parkinson's disease and drug-induced movement disorder. It can also be used to prevent and treat influenza infection. The antiviral property of the medicine works against the viruses to prevent their growth and multiplication. Comantrel-T Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Comantrel-T Tablet.

Breastfeeding Warning

Comantrel-T Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Comantrel-T Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Comantrel-T Tablet is a dopamine agonist that treats Parkinson's disease. It works by increasing the amount of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain which regulates body movements. It also has an antiviral property. It works against viruses to prevent their growth and multiplication. It also appears to restrict the viruses to release infectious chemicals (viral nucleic acid) to enter into the body. Thus, it prevents and treats influenza infection.

It can be taken with or without food. It may cause blurring of vision or affect mental ability. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may put you at a higher risk of having seizures. Talk to your doctor if you have a history of seizures or are taking medication for it. Inform your doctor if you notice an urge to gamble, increased sexual urges, binge eating, or uncontrolled spending. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
