Introduction

COM D3N Plus Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of neuropathic pain. This medicine decreases pain by controlling calcium channel activity of the nerve cells and increases the level of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood and protect nerve fibers.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. COM D3N Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

COM D3N Plus Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Pregabalin, Nortriptyline, Methylcobalamin and Vitamin D3. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Vitamin D3 helps transmit messages from nerve cells to other cells in the body. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

Used to treat certain types of long-lasting pain caused by damage to nerves. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other pain relieving medicines. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures. Immediately seek medical help if you experience hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination. Along with taking COM D3N Plus Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain.
