Cologenesis Colofiber-MM is a topical product containing type 1 collagen, mupirocin, and metronidazole. It is used to promote wound healing and manage bacterial infections in various types of wounds, including non-healing ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, and infected wounds. The product is gamma sterilized and supplied in convenient pet containers. It is non-toxic, non-allergenic, and non-immunogenic.

Assess, debride and clean the wound according to your protocols..Apply collofibre-MM particles sufficiently to cover the wound..With a heavily draining wound, cover it with an absorbent dressing and change as necessary..With a minimal draining wound, cover with a secondary non-absorbent dressing and change as required..Remove the secondary dressing daily as indicated by the amount of draining.

The product works by promoting wound healing through the deposition and organisation of freshly formed fibres and granulation tissues in the wound bed, and by providing antibacterial properties to manage bacterial infections.
