How should Cobamed 1500mcg Injection be given?
Cobamed 1500mcg Injection can be injected directly into a vein (intravenously) or into a muscle (intramuscularly). The typical dose is one ampoule (0.5 mg of Cobamed 1500mcg Injection), administered three times per week. After two months, one ampoule (0.5 mg of Cobamed 1500mcg Injection) is given every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Cobamed 1500mcg Injection?
Avoid administering the injections at the same site repeatedly. If you experience intense pain while injecting or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
