It is used to treat deficiency of vitamin B12 in the body. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

How should Cobaliv 2500 Injection be given?
Cobaliv 2500 Injection can be administered intravenously (directly into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (containing 0.5 mg of Cobaliv 2500 Injection), and it's administered three times per week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Cobaliv 2500 Injection) is given every one to three months for maintenance therapy.
What precautions should be taken when administering Cobaliv 2500 Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication in the same site each time. If you experience intense pain while injecting or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
