Clotrex Mouth Paint should be applied on the site of lesion inside the mouth. Follow the doctor’s instruction or use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course even when you feel better. You must have to avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after using it. It is a safe medicine with few side effects but you may get allergic reactions like swelling of the lips, throat or face, and trouble breathing. Inform your doctor if bothers you or does not go away. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction. Clotrex Mouth Paint is an antifungal medication which treats fungal infections of the mouth. It works by binding with the mucosa (the inner surface of the lips and cheeks) from where it is slowly released into the saliva. The fungal cell membranes are destroyed thereby killing the fungi.

Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin. Wait for at least 30 minutes before eating and drinking anything. Avoid getting it in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Inform your doctor if the infection has not cleared up after four weeks of treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
