Medicines containing acetaminophen
Clopar K Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
You have been prescribed Clopar K Tablet to relieve pain due to muscle spasm. This medicine is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Clopar K Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Clopar K Tablet. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
Clopar K Tablet is a combination medication that contains three active ingredients: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. It is used to relieve muscle pain, with Chlorzoxazone acting as a muscle relaxant on the central nervous system, and Diclofenac and Paracetamol reducing the production of prostaglandins, which cause pain and inflammation.
Clopar K Tablet is generally considered safe for most patients. However, it may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any persistent problems or side effects.
It is recommended to continue taking Clopar K Tablet for the duration advised by your doctor, even if your pain is relieved. However, if you are taking it for short-term pain relief, you can discontinue use as directed.
Yes, Clopar K Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. To alleviate nausea, take the medication with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods with this medication. If you experience vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids in small, frequent sips. If vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, such as dark-colored and strong-smelling urine and decreased urination frequency, consult your doctor. Do not take any other medication without consulting your doctor.
Yes, Clopar K Tablet can cause dizziness in some patients. If you experience dizziness, it is recommended to rest for a while and resume the medication once you feel better.
Yes, the long-term use of Clopar K Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. This is because the medication can lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body, which are naturally produced by the kidneys to protect them from damage. Patients with underlying kidney disease should avoid using painkillers like Clopar K Tablet.
No, taking a higher dose of Clopar K Tablet than recommended can increase the risk of side effects. If you are experiencing increased pain severity or if the pain is not relieved by the recommended doses, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Store Clopar K Tablet in its original container, tightly closed. Follow the storage instructions provided on the pack or label. Dispose of any unused medication and ensure it is not consumed by pets, children, or other individuals.
