Introduction
Clavam Forte Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is capable of killing bacteria that have become resistant to other therapies and thus also helps treat tuberculosis that is resistant to other treatments. It contains two active agents, amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) essential for the survival of the bacteria. Clavulanic acid inhibits an enzyme (beta-lactamase) produced by resistant bacteria, making this combination effective for many types of infections.
Directions for Use
Administer Clavam Forte Dry Syrup as prescribed by the doctor. Ensure the child completes the entire course of antibiotics. Do not use it to treat common cold and flu-like symptoms caused by viruses.
How it works
Clavam Forte Dry Syrup contains amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin prevents the formation of the bacterial cell wall, essential for bacterial survival.
