Claty 250mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic that works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. It stops the bacteria from growing and prevents the infection from spreading. It is effective against various types of infections, including respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and skin infections, as well as H. pylori associated with peptic ulcer disease. It is taken orally, preferably either one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. No antacids should be taken within 2 hours of taking this medicine. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Claty 250mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Claty 250mg Tablet DT with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats, and some types of beer.
