Claril 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic effective against various infections, including those caused by H. pylori, which is associated with peptic ulcer disease. It is also effective against infections like MAC (Mycobacterium avium complex) seen in people with reduced immunity. The medicine works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria, thereby stopping their growth and preventing the infection from spreading. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abnormal taste, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, and rash. These side effects are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Claril 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Claril 250mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats, and some types of beer.

Claril 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. This stops the bacteria from growing and prevents the infection from spreading.

Your doctor has prescribed Claril 250mg Tablet to cure your infection and improve your symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Take it 1 hour before or two hours after food. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Claril 250mg Tablet. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Stop taking Claril 250mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat, or tongue, or breathing difficulties while taking it.
