Introduction

Cindom Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cindom Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Side Effects

The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time.

Alcohol Warning

Cindom Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Breastfeeding Warning

Pregnancy Warning

Cindom Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Cindom Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Cinnarizine.

You have been prescribed Cindom Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and nausea associated with it. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time. Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body. Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. Cindom Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.
