Chlorotame Forte Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of schizophrenia, a mental disorder characterized by unreal thoughts and behavior. It helps improve the person's ability to think, feel, and behave by altering thoughts and elevating mood. Common side effects include nausea, constipation, dryness in mouth, sedation, abnormal heart rhythm, urinary retention, blurred vision, and nervousness. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so caution is advised when driving or performing tasks that require mental focus. Inform your doctor if you have thyroid or kidney problems, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, glaucoma, or heart problems before taking this medication. Avoid alcohol and certain medications while on this treatment.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Chlorotame Forte Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It can cause dry mouth; maintain good oral hygiene, drink water, chew sugarless gum, or suck on hard candy. It can make you more sensitive to temperature changes; drink plenty of liquids and dress appropriately. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down to lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or trouble passing urine. Do not stop taking Chlorotame Forte Tablet without talking to your doctor first as it may cause worsening of symptoms.
