Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet is an aromatase inhibitor that helps treat breast cancer in post-menopausal women. It works by decreasing the amount of estrogen produced in the body, which can slow down or stop the growth of some breast cancers that need estrogen to grow. It may be used alone or with other treatments, such as surgery or radiation.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Yes, you can take irbesartan and Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet together. However, be careful and keep a regular check on your blood pressure since Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet may increase it. Consult your doctor in case you have problems controlling your blood pressure.
Although rare, Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet can cause a cataract. If you experience blurred vision or eye irritation, consult your doctor immediately.

Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet can potentially cause thinning or wasting of your bones (osteoporosis) due to the decrease in estrogen levels in your body. Your doctor may measure your bone density regularly to monitor for osteoporosis.
As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Chemlet 2.5mg Tablet is restricted for use in inducing ovulation in cases of anovulatory infertility.
