Cetral Cold Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, and Cetirizine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist that narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Cetirizine is an antiallergic that relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
