Tablet
Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet is an antihistamine medication prescribed for children to alleviate symptoms of allergic conditions like hay fever, urticaria, conjunctivitis, and the common cold. It helps in reducing symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching. While it is effective in managing these symptoms, it may cause side effects like sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, and constipation. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and consult a doctor for any concerns or if the child is under 4 years of age.
Administer Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet to your child as prescribed by the doctor. It is recommended to give the medicine at the same time each day to help remember. Avoid giving it with fatty meals and fruit juice.
Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines. It blocks the natural chemical substance (histamine) produced in the body during an allergic state and lowers the immune system’s response to these conditions, thereby relieving symptoms and eventually curing the condition.
Try giving the medicines at the same time each day to help you remember. Your child may feel sleepy or dizzy after each dose. If this happens, make your child sit or lie down and ask them to be careful while performing tasks that require mental focus. Avoid giving Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet with fatty meals and fruit juice as both can reduce the absorption of the medicine. Dry mouth can occur as a side effect. Taking sips of water may help. Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet can trigger constipation. Give plenty of fluids and a fiber-rich diet to your child. Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet should be avoided in children who are less than 4 years of age as there is a risk of respiratory distress. Stop taking Cetcip Cold 5mg Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
