Cefuroxime (125mg) + Clavulanic Acid (31.25mg)
Cefresh-CV Dry Syrup is a potent antibiotic that effectively treats bacterial infections in children.
Dry Syrup
Cefresh-CV Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefuroxime and Clavulanic Acid. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, soft tissues, bones, joints, abdomen, and urinary tract in children. It also prevents infection after surgeries and animal or human bite wounds.
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.
Cefuroxime is an antibiotic that works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefuroxime.
Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. This medicine is not to be taken in such cases. Only give Cefresh-CV Dry Syrup to your child for their current infection. Discontinue giving Cefresh-CV Dry Syrup and consult the doctor immediately in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
