Introduction

Carispec 4.5 Capsule may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this in the dose and duration advised by your doctor, and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor, as this may worsen your symptoms. However, discontinue this medicine immediately if you experience neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) characterized by fever, muscle rigidity, and altered consciousness or seizures.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Carispec 4.5 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

Breastfeeding Warning

Carispec 4.5 Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Carispec 4.5 Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Carispec 4.5 Capsule is a medication that works to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. It rebalances chemicals such as dopamine and serotonin in the brain to improve mood, thinking, and behavior.

It is better to take Carispec 4.5 Capsule at night as this medicine may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position or you may feel dizzy. Carispec 4.5 Capsule can cause dehydration so increase your fluid intake accordingly. Inform your doctor if you are taking any antidepressants. Avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Carispec 4.5 Capsule can make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when you are outdoors. If you develop any depressing or suicidal thoughts or ideas let your doctor know about it as soon as possible. If you have diabetes you should monitor your blood glucose levels regularly as Carispec 4.5 Capsule may affect the sugar levels in your blood. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. Try to keep your appointments regular with your doctor. This is so the doctor can check on your progress.
