Caredic-MR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. Frequently asked questions
What is Caredic-MR Tablet?
Caredic-MR Tablet contains three medications: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. This combination helps relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone acts on the central nervous system as a muscle relaxant. Diclofenac and Paracetamol work by reducing prostaglandins, chemicals in the body responsible for pain and inflammation.
Is Caredic-MR Tablet safe to use?
Caredic-MR Tablet is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some people may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dryness in the mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. If you experience persistent side effects, inform your doctor immediately.
Can I stop taking Caredic-MR Tablet when my pain is relieved?
You should continue taking Caredic-MR Tablet as prescribed by your doctor unless they advise otherwise. You may be able to discontinue the medication after a short period of use if your pain has been adequately managed.
Can the use of Caredic-MR Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, taking Caredic-MR Tablet can lead to nausea and vomiting. If you experience this side effect, try taking it with milk or food, or an antacid, and avoid fatty or fried foods. In case of vomiting, drink small amounts of water frequently. Consult your doctor if vomiting persists and observe signs of dehydration, such as dark urine and decreased urination.
Can the use of Caredic-MR Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, some individuals may experience dizziness while taking this medication. If you feel lightheaded or dizzy, rest for a short time before resuming your activity.
Can the use of Caredic-MR Tablet cause kidney damage?
