Introduction
Canzone 1% Powder is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as that may cause increased side effects. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. The effects of this medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean and dry and washing hands before and after treating the infection. If you have an athlete's foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible. Some of the common side effects include skin irritation, redness, or itching at the site of application. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. Some people have a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face, swallowing or breathing problems, dizziness and nausea. Get emergency help if this happens. Frequently asked questions
What is Canzone 1% Powder used for?
Canzone 1% Powder is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, fungal nappy rash, and fungal sweat rash. It also relieves irritation of the vulva (external thrush) and irritation occurring at the end of the penis associated with thrush.
Canzone 1% Powder is effective against which fungi?
Canzone 1% Powder is effective against Trichophyton species, which cause ringworm infection, athlete's foot, and jock itch. It also targets Candida yeast, commonly responsible for vaginal thrush.
I have started using Canzone 1% Powder. By when can I expect to start seeing improvements?
Symptoms such as itching or soreness should improve within a few days of treatment. However, signs like redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. Continue applying the medicine for the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.
What precautions are necessary while applying Canzone 1% Powder?
Always wash hands thoroughly before and after application. If using the cream on an infected foot, wash and dry the feet, especially between the toes, before applying. Apply the powder thinly and evenly, rubbing it gently onto affected areas two to three times daily.
For how long should I apply Canzone 1% Powder? Can I stop if symptoms have completely disappeared?
Treatment duration depends on the type of infection. Generally, it's one month for tinea infections and at least 15 days for candida infections. Don't stop treatment on your own even if you feel better, as the infection may return and it takes time to kill the fungus.
Is Canzone 1% Powder safe to use in children?
Canzone 1% Powder is safe for children when used as directed by a doctor. Give it to them in the correct dose only for the prescribed length of time. Minor side effects may occur but are usually not bothersome. However, if you experience severe burning sensations, redness, and itching, stop the medicine and consult your doctor.
Are there any measures that should be taken to help a faster recovery?
Keep the affected skin areas clean and dry but avoid excessive rubbing. If you feel itchy, try not to scratch as it will damage the surface of the skin and spread the infection further. Avoid sharing towels, bath mats, etc., with others to prevent spreading the infection.
Does Canzone 1% Powder affect contraception?
Canzone 1% Powder may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives like diaphragms and condoms. If you're using the cream on your vulva or penis, consider alternative methods of contraception for at least five days after using Canzone 1% Powder.
