Candid Mouth Gel is a combination of two medicines used to treat mouth ulcers, reducing pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation.
Dental Gel
Candid Mouth Gel should be used as directed by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only in the mouth with clean hands. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, rashes, etc., you should consult the doctor immediately.
Check the label for directions before use. Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside your mouth. Refrain from eating or drinking immediately after applying the gel.
Candid Mouth Gel is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Lidocaine. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain which decreases the pain sensation.
Apply it over the affected area with a clean fingertip three to four times a day or as directed by your doctor Stop using this medicine and inform your doctor if any irritation occurs If symptoms persist for more than seven days, consult your doctor
Do not eat for 1 hour after applying Candid Mouth Gel as this medicine may temporarily impair your swallowing ability.
Store this medication in its original, tightly sealed container. Follow the specific storage instructions provided on the packaging or label. Do not consume any unused medicine and ensure it is kept out of reach of pets, children, and other individuals.
