Introduction

Camifort N Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of abdominal cramps. It relaxes the muscles in the stomach or intestine and stops sudden muscle contractions, thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Camifort N Tablet is to be taken with food.

Camifort N Tablet is a combination of two medicines: nimesulide and camylofin which relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Camylofin is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms).

Take it with food or milk to avoid getting an upset stomach. Take it when the first sign of pain occurs. Inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma before taking Camifort N Tablet. Stick to simple meals and avoid fatty or spicy foods to avoid nausea after taking this medicine. Drink plenty of water to prevent constipation as well as to get relief from dryness in the mouth.
