Caladene Lotion should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.

Caladene Lotion is a combination of two astringents (Calamine and Camphor) and an antiallergic (Diphenhydramine). The astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation. The antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.

Apply Caladene Lotion directly to the skin and rub in gently. You may also use a cotton ball to smooth the medicine onto your skin. Wash your hands after applying. Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by the doctor. Allow the medicine to dry on its own.
