Calactodryl Lotion is a combination of two astringents (Calamine and Camphor) and an antiallergic (Diphenhydramine). The astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation. The antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.
