Introduction
Calacare lotion is a combination of Calamine and Diphenhydramine, used to provide relief from itching, pain, and inflammation. It is applied topically to the affected area to treat mild pruritic conditions. The lotion is also used as a mild antiseptic to prevent infections caused by scratching the affected area, and an astringent to dry weeping or oozing blisters and acne abscesses.
Directions for Use
Apply onto the affected area 1-4 times daily, re-apply after bath. Use as directed.
How it works
Calamine prevents oozing and weeping of skin wounds and helps them dry, while Diphenhydramine chloride temporarily relieves itching and pain.
