Keep the affected area clean and dry before applying this medicine. After applying the medicine, cover the treated area with a dressing. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Avoid getting this medication in the eyes, mouth or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas. Pain and swelling are some common side effects of this medicine. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
