Cadithro 50mg Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections such as infections of the ear, nose, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It works by interfering with the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to perform important functions, stopping the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and preventing the infection from spreading.

Antibiotics usually do not interfere with vaccine ingredients or cause a reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not receive vaccinations until they have recovered from their illness. Once your child feels better, the vaccine can be administered.
Your child's doctor may recommend periodic ECG and liver function tests to monitor their condition.
