Frequently asked questions
When will my child feel better?
The time it takes for your child to feel better with Busil Oral Suspension can vary depending on the severity of their infection. You may need to give your child this medicine for a few days to several weeks, as recommended by their doctor. You should see a reduction in pain or fever and a gradual improvement in your child's condition.
My child's fever persists even after taking Busil Oral Suspension. What should I do?
If the fever doesn’t decrease as expected despite starting the initial doses, this could indicate an underlying infection (either viral or bacterial). It is crucial to consult your doctor for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Can I increase or decrease the dose of Busil Oral Suspension for my child by myself according to the severity of illness?
No, it's not advisable to alter the dose of the medication without consulting your doctor. While increasing the dosage may lead to toxicity, suddenly decreasing it could also worsen symptoms. Always consult your doctor if you feel a change in dosage is necessary.
How should Busil Oral Suspension be stored?
Busil Oral Suspension should be kept at room temperature in a dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Remember to store all medicines out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
Can all children be given the same dose of Busil Oral Suspension?
No, Busil Oral Suspension dosages need to be tailored for individual needs. Even your child will not have the same dose once they grow up. Your doctor determines an appropriate dosage based on your child’s age and weight.
Can I give Busil Oral Suspension on a routine basis when my child is taking a vaccine?
Busil Oral Suspension typically does not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause negative reactions. However, it's best to allow your child to recover from their illness and finish the full course of medication before administering any new vaccines.
Are there any serious side effects of Busil Oral Suspension for my child?
While Busil Oral Suspension is generally well-tolerated by children, you should consult your doctor immediately if your child experiences any of the following: persistent vomiting, sudden swelling, pale skin, weakness, decreased urine frequency, or a severe allergic reaction.
