Burnfree Cream is a combination of two medicines, strictly advised for external use only. It is used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor, applied only on the affected areas of the skin. Burnfree Cream is a combination of two antiseptic medicines: Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Silver Nitrate. Chlorhexidine Gluconate works by binding strongly with skin and killing infectious microorganisms. Silver Nitrate stops bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. This kills the bacteria and treats skin infection due to burns.
